In early 2014, Diamond Equity Investments (DEI) was founded by Dan Breslin in Philadelphia with a bold vision: to transform distressed properties into valuable real estate opportunities. Starting with a small but dedicated team, DEI quickly built a reputation for integrity and efficiency in the fix-and-flip market.
By the end of 2014, DEI took a major step forward when Aaron Lockhart’s private real estate company merged with DEI, marking the beginning of the Chicago market. This expansion brought new expertise, strategies, and opportunities, solidifying DEI’s presence in the Midwest.
With growing success, DEI set its sights on the South, launching operations in Atlanta in 2016. The city’s thriving real estate market provided a perfect fit for DEI’s business model, allowing the company to scale operations and establish itself as a leader in the region.
As DEI’s impact grew beyond local markets, 2021 marked a turning point with the creation of the national team. This expansion allowed DEI to streamline operations, implement best practices across all markets, and provide nationwide support for acquisitions, dispositions, and training.
